About the Winery
Casa Setaro is a family-run winery in Trecase, on the southern slopes of Mount Vesuvius, founded in 2004 by Massimo Setaro. The estate cultivates approximately 12-20 hectares of exclusively own-rooted vines within Vesuvius National Park on volcanic sands between 200 and 350 meters elevation, focusing on indigenous varieties including Caprettone, Piedirosso, and Aglianico to produce distinctive Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio wines marked by striking minerality and freshness.
