About the Winery

Canella is a historic family winery founded in 1947 by Luciano Canella in San Dona di Piave, near Venice, and was one of the very first to specialize in Prosecco production. Now run by Luciano's children and grandson Tommaso, the winery is virtually synonymous with Prosecco and is also famous for creating the world's first bottled Bellini cocktail in 1988, made with white peach juice and Prosecco.
