About the Winery

Casa Favot is a historic family winery in Pietra de' Giorgi, Oltrepò Pavese, where the Fraschini family has cultivated vines since ancient times, with post-war vinification beginning under Alfredo and continuing today with grandsons Giulio and Enrico across about 10 hectares. The estate's historic Castlà vineyard produces traditional Buttafuoco from Barbera, Croatina, and Uva Rara, alongside Pinot Nero in still and sparkling forms, with a line of authentic wines called L'è ma l'è from minimally treated grapes.
