About the Winery

Carpenè-Malvolti is the oldest Italian family-owned sparkling wine house, founded in 1868 by Antonio Carpenè in Conegliano, Treviso, in the heart of the Prosecco Superiore DOCG zone. Antonio Carpenè was the first to produce Prosecco as a sparkling wine and to use the Charmat method, and in 1924 his winery created the first label bearing the name ""Prosecco,"" linking the wine to its grape variety and territory of origin.
