About the Winery
Cantina Cardèto is one of the most important wine cooperatives in Umbria, founded on August 30, 1949 and now uniting approximately 80 grower members who cultivate about 500 hectares of vineyards in the Orvieto area. Located in the Sferracavallo hamlet, the cooperative produces a wide range of wines led by Orvieto Classico DOC whites and Rosso Orvietano DOC reds, with a focus on quality wines at competitive prices and its first organic wine line launched in 2020.
