About the Winery

Bessich is a historic family winery founded in 1959 in Roveredo in Piano, in the province of Pordenone, Friuli Venezia Giulia. Originally from Istria, Antonio Bessich began crafting wines with his son Luciano, and today the family estate produces DOP Friuli and IGP wines from gravel-rich ""Grave"" soils, including Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Refosco, Merlot, and sparkling wines, as members of the FIVI Independent Winemakers Association.
