About the Winery
Cantine Paolo Leo is a fourth-generation family winery in San Donaci, Puglia, in the heart of Negroamaro country, founded by Paolo Leo in 1989 from a family winemaking tradition dating to the early 1900s. The estate manages 50 hectares of vineyards, producing around 5 million bottles annually from indigenous varieties including Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia, Fiano, and Verdeca, and also acquired the historic Candido winery in 2025.
