About the Winery

Cantine Catabbo was born in the 1990s when Vincenzo Catabbo transitioned from cereal wholesale to viticulture in San Martino in Pensilis, pioneering the rediscovery of Tintilia, Molise's only officially recognized indigenous grape variety. Today the family estate, led by Vincenzo's children Sara, Carla, and Pasquale, oversees three properties across 40 hectares of vineyards—13 of which are dedicated to Tintilia—on steep clay terrain with views of the Adriatic Sea, and has been entirely certified organic since 2019.
