Azienda Agricola Altomonte is a winery in Palizzi, Calabria, dedicated to preserving the historic Palizzi IGT through the cultivation of ancient 'mother vine' ecotypes on approximately 7 hectares of calcareous soils at 300-400 meters elevation. The estate grows primarily Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Calabrese, and Inzolia using organic methods, producing wines that express the unique terroir of Italy's southernmost vineyards.
