About the Winery
Cantina Riter, founded by Ludovico Mottolini in Poggiridenti, Valtellina, is a family winery in the historic DOCG Inferno subzone. Certified organic since 2021, the estate produces Valtellina Superiore DOCG and Rosso di Valtellina DOC from Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo), with vineyards managed according to sustainable principles, sharing cellar spaces with friends in a collaborative project to highlight the unique nuances of this exceptional alpine terroir.
