Cantina Le Cimate (Montefalco)
About the Winery
Cantina Le Cimate is located in Montefalco, Umbria, on a 28-hectare property acquired by the Bartoloni family in 1993 from the Diocese of Spoleto, with 23 hectares cultivated to DOCG vines on a scenic hilltop offering panoramic views of the Monti Martani mountains and the town of Montefalco. The winery, whose name means top of the hill, was founded in 2011 and is now run by third-generation winemaker Paolo Bartoloni, producing wines including Trebbiano Spoletino DOC, Montefalco Rosso DOC, and Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG from their elevated vineyard sites.
