About the Winery

After years as a nurseryman, Marco Gatti established his winery in 1998 in Cerreto d'Esi, reviving small plots of old vines in the northernmost part of the Matelica appellation at 275-400 meters above sea level. Today the estate works 7.5 hectares of calcareous-clay soils, focusing on Verdicchio di Matelica with labels including Casale Venza and the cru Villa Marilla from Quadrelle, alongside Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
