About the Winery

Cantina dei Templari is a historic winery in Forenza, Basilicata, whose origins trace back to lands that once belonged to the Knights Templar and have been managed by the Cangi family since 1766. The estate produces Aglianico del Vulture DOC and Riserva wines from organically cultivated vineyards, with founder Donato Cangi establishing the modern winery in 1962 in a magical historic cellar in the center of Forenza.
