About the Winery
Cantina Cliternia is a cooperative of approximately 150 growers founded in 1972 in Campomarino, Campobasso, located near the ancient Roman site of Cliternium, a strategic hub for eastward trade during the golden age of the Roman Empire. Nestled between the Gargano promontory and the Adriatic Sea, the cooperative produces IGT and DOC wines from typical Molise grape varieties, combining centuries-old viticultural traditions with modern technology to craft wines that preserve the natural gifts of Mediterranean terroir.
