About the Winery
E. Pira e Figli, now known as E. Pira di Chiara Boschis, is a historic Barolo estate in the village of Barolo, Piemonte, originally founded in the late 1800s and taken over by the Boschis family in 1980, with Chiara Boschis becoming one of the first female winemakers in the Langhe. Today Chiara and her brother Giorgio farm 11 hectares across prime Barolo crus including Cannubi, Via Nuova, and Mosconi, producing elegant, organic Barolo that has earned the Robert Parker Green Emblem for sustainability, alongside Dolcetto, Barbera, and Langhe Nebbiolo.
