About the Winery
Camerlengo is a small organic winery in Rapolla, Basilicata, run by former architect Antonio Cascarano on 4 hectares of vineyards at the foot of Monte Vulture. Named after the Cardinal Camerlengo who was rewarded with these lands in 1250, the estate produces traditional Aglianico del Vulture DOC and distinctive white wines from historic varieties including Malvasia di Rapolla and Santa Sofia, with vinification in a stunning rock-carved cellar.
