About the Winery
Although the Bucci family's dedication to viticulture dates to 1700, Villa Bucci was officially founded in 1983 by Ampelio Bucci, who was among the first to valorize Verdicchio as a serious grape variety. Today the 350-hectare estate includes 25 hectares of vineyards in Verdicchio DOC Classico and 6 hectares of Montepulciano and Sangiovese for Rosso Piceno, farmed organically for over 20 years with fermentation in stainless steel and aging in century-old Slavonian oak barrels.
