About the Winery

Barberani is a family winery located in Baschi, near Lake Corbara in the Orvieto area of Umbria, with a winemaking tradition that dates back to 1961 and encompasses more than 100 hectares of which 55 are planted to vineyards. The estate is particularly recognized for its Orvieto Classico wines crafted from native varieties including Grechetto and Procanico, as well as red wines from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, all grown on the volcanic and sedimentary soils that characterize the Corbara lakeside terroir.
