TerraQuilia La Cantina is a pioneering natural winery in Guiglia, in the Modena hills of Emilia-Romagna. Founded by Romano Mattioli, the estate sits at over 500 meters altitude on clayey marl and limestone soils known locally as ""Calastrino."" They specialize in Metodo Ancestrale sparkling wines from Lambrusco Grasparossa, Grechetto Gentile, and Negretto, practicing biodynamic agriculture and minimal-intervention winemaking with spontaneous fermentations and extended lees aging.
