About the Winery

Masseto is an iconic single-vineyard Merlot produced in Bolgheri, Tuscany, from approximately seven hectares planted on distinctive Pliocene blue clay soils that give the wine its extraordinary power and mineral character. Nicknamed 'the Petrus of Italy,' the wine has earned multiple 100-point scores and in 2008 became the first Italian wine sold through the Place de Bordeaux, cementing its status among the world's most coveted wines.
