Battiato
About the Winery
Battiato is a family winery on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna in Santa Venerina, with vineyards originally planted in the 1800s at 400 meters above sea level. Brothers Marco and Claudio Battiato established the current estate in 2014, producing Etna Rosso from 100-year-old Nerello Mascalese vines and Etna Bianco from Carricante and Catarratto using natural viticulture.
