About the Winery
Azienda Agricola Sofia is a family-run organic winery in Solicchiata on the north side of Mount Etna, founded in 2017 by Carmelo and Valentina Sofia. The estate manages about 3 hectares across Contrada Piano dei Daini (volcanic soil) and Pietramarina (clay), producing Etna Rosso from Nerello Mascalese and Etna Bianco from Carricante with natural, low-intervention winemaking.
