About the Winery

Castello di Corbara is a historic estate located between Orvieto and Todi in Umbria, overlooking Lake Corbara, with roots dating back to Roman times and encompassing more than 1,200 hectares of which approximately 100 are planted to vineyards between 100 and 350 meters above sea level. The Patrizi family, who acquired the estate in 1997, focuses on reviving native varieties including Grechetto for their Orvieto Classico wines, Sangiovese, and a historic clone of Montepulciano, while also cultivating international varieties that have adapted well to the estate's diverse microclimates and soils.
