About the Winery

Villa Canthus is a small, family-run winery established in 1987 in an 18th-century Venetian villa on the banks of the Piave River, producing clean and unique wines from lesser-known indigenous varieties. Founded by Giuliano Ormenese, who comes from three generations of wine producers, the estate cultivates rare grapes including Grappariol, Rabosino Bianco, Perera, and Verdisa alongside traditional varieties.
