Villa Caviciana (Lake Bolsena, Tuscia)
About the Winery
Situated on the northern shore of Lake Bolsena near Gradoli, Villa Caviciana is the first agricultural estate of the FAI (Italian Environment Fund), producing organic wines from native varieties such as Aleatico, Procanico, and Roscetto on 144 hectares of volcanic terroir. Founded in 1989 by the Metzeler family and now managed by Giuseppe Scala and Osvaldo de Falco, the estate crafts a diverse line of eight wines and two spirits that express the volcanic and Mediterranean character of the Alta Tuscia region.
