About the Winery
Stella di Campalto is one of Montalcino's most respected artisan producers, crafting certified organic and biodynamic Brunello di Montalcino from 17 acres of Sangiovese vines in the San Giuseppe estate near Castelnuovo dell'Abate. Founded in 1992 by Stella Viola di Campalto, the estate vinifies each of its six unique vineyard sections separately by gravity in wooden vats, producing wines that are unfined, unfiltered, and bottled only when deemed ready.
