Popphof

About the Winery

Popphof is a historic winery in Marling near Merano, Alto Adige, where wine has been produced since 1592 and the Menz family has owned the estate since 1722. Today Andreas Menz tends three hectares of vineyards to create approximately 25,000 bottles annually, with a particular focus on the distinctive Meraner Lagrein that requires time to soften its characteristic edges.
