Ampelon is a winery founded in 2009 by Barbara and Valter Gazzotti on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, between Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia. The estate specializes in recovering and restructuring ancient Nerello Mascalese vineyards at 700-850 meters above sea level across 8 hectares.
