About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Allegretti has been producing Aglianico del Vulture DOC in Barile since 1986, when Franco Allegretti first bottled wine and passed his passion on to his children Rosangela and Paolo. The estate produces acclaimed reds including 'Il Barile' and 'Castello Svevo' from vineyards on volcanic soils at 400-600 meters, combining tradition with modern sustainable practices through their Allegro Farm project.
