About the Winery

Al-Cantara is a winery founded in 2005 on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, in the area between the Alcantara River and the volcano, at approximately 620 meters above sea level. The estate produces Etna DOC wines from native varieties including Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, and Carricante, and was crowned 'Winery of the Year' at Vinitaly in 2023.
