About the Winery
Akrille is a wine project born from the collaboration between the Cutrera family of Chiaramonte Gulfi and Joe Bastianich, located in the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG zone in southeastern Sicily. The winery produces Grillo, Nero d'Avola, Frappato, and Cerasuolo di Vittoria from hillside vineyards at 400-600 meters above sea level on rocky calcareous soils.
