About the Winery

Pusole is a family-run organic winery in Baunei and Lotzorai, in the Ogliastra region of eastern central Sardegna, where four generations of the Pusole family have cultivated native grapes since the early 1900s. Brothers Lorenzo and Roberto Pusole produce wines from Vermentino, Cannonau, and other indigenous varieties using a strictly non-interventionist approach with spontaneous fermentation, indigenous yeasts, and no filtration. Their philosophy centers on preserving the true character of wines shaped by soil and vintage, with vineyards planted on diverse soils ranging from shale to sandy alluvial terrain near the Mediterranean Sea.
