About the Winery

Agricola Mevante is a winery set on the hills of Bevagna in the heart of Umbria's Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG zone, founded and managed by siblings Paolo and Antonella Presciutti on their 10-hectare estate that faces east toward the rising sun. Named after the ancient Roman city of Mevania, the winery produces Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, Montefalco Rosso DOC, Grechetto, and Trebbiano Spoletino from indigenous Umbrian grape varieties, crafting approximately 60,000 bottles annually.
