About the Winery

Lorenzo Accomasso was a legendary, cult Barolo producer in La Morra, Piemonte, who made wine for over 68 vintages until his passing in 2025, embodying the most traditional methods of Barolo production. From his tiny 3-hectare estate in Annunziata, he crafted sublime Barolo Riserva and Rocchette Riserva using ultra-long macerations of 50-60 days and aging in large botti and demijohns, producing fewer than 1,000 cases annually of some of the most magical and sought-after Barolos in the world.
