About the Winery
A Mano is a small artisanal winery founded in the late 1990s in Noci, Puglia, by Californian winemaker Mark Shannon and Italian manager Elvezia Sbalchiero, who revolutionized the style and caliber of Primitivo in the region. The estate focuses on low-intervention winemaking from 70 to 100-year-old vines, paying fair prices to growers for quality grapes, and produces acclaimed wines including the 'Imprint' Primitivo Appassito and rare single-varietal Susumaniello.
