About the Winery

Calitro is a family winery in the San Marzano di Taranto area of Puglia, now in its fourth generation under Francesco Calitro, who established the bottled wine brand in 2011 from vineyards originally planted by grandfather Ciccillo. The estate produces nine wines including Negroamaro, Primitivo di Manduria DOC and Riserva, Susumaniello, Verdeca, and a sparkling Charmat-method rosé, all crafted to express the essence of Salento's native varieties and terroir.
