About the Winery
Azienda Agricola San Ruggiero was founded in 2012 in Petraro, between Barletta and Andria in northern Puglia, by Ruggiero Tupputi, a radiologist who revived an old family vineyard planted by his grandfather over 80 years ago. The small estate spans approximately 2 hectares of vines and 2 of olive groves, focusing on ancient clones of Nero di Troia (barlettana variety), Moscato Reale, and Trebbiano, with biodynamic farming and native yeast fermentation.
