About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Donato D'Angelo was founded in 2001 by Donato D'Angelo, a pioneering figure who single-handedly revived the Aglianico del Vulture appellation and put Basilicata on the fine wine map. The estate encompasses 20 hectares across the Vulture area, producing acclaimed Aglianico del Vulture wines from 40-50 year-old vines grown on volcanic soils at elevations around 500 meters.
