About the Winery

Masca del Tacco is a winery in Erchie, northern Salento, Puglia, originally founded as a cooperative in 1949 and revitalized in 2010 by the Mergè family, who combined historic traditions with modern technology. Spanning approximately 250 hectares, the estate produces characterful wines from indigenous varieties including Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello, and Fiano, with several wines earning 98-99 points from Luca Maroni.
