About the Winery

Steiger-Kalena is a young winery established in 2014 by Giulio Steiger and Margarita Cherubini in Casacalenda, Molise, on approximately 12.5 hectares of vineyards planted at 300-350 meters above sea level near Lake Guardialfiera. The estate cultivates only three red varieties—Montepulciano, Aglianico, and Tintilia—across clay, calcareous, and sandy soils, producing soulful red and rosé blends with elegance and vitality through natural, non-invasive farming practices.
