About the Winery

Pascal Chaignier is a wine producer in the Charentes region of western France. The Charentes is internationally renowned as the home of Cognac, the prestigious brandy that has been produced in the region for over 400 years. The region also produces Pineau des Charentes, a unique fortified wine created by adding Cognac eau-de-vie to fresh grape must. Charentes producers work primarily with Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Folle Blanche, and Sémillon grapes, crafting both the base wines for Cognac distillation and the region's own table wines.
