About the Winery

Domaine de Beaumalric is a family estate located in Beaumes-de-Venise in the southern Rhône Valley. The domaine is best known for its Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, a sweet fortified wine (vin doux naturel) made from 100% Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains that dates back to the 14th century. The wine displays intense aromas of apricot, peach, orange peel, and coconut, balanced by high acidity that gives freshness to the rich, opulent palate. The estate also produces red wines from the Côtes-du-Ventoux and Beaumes-de-Venise appellations. The Begouassel family has been established in the region for nearly three generations, originally as growers and vine plant experts.
