Jean-Jacques Martin is a wine producer in the Beaujolais region, operating the estate with his wife Sylvaine. The domaine produces wines from the Beaujolais-Villages appellation, crafted from the Gamay grape on the region's characteristic granite soils. Beaujolais-Villages wines come from 38 specific communes in the northern part of the region and offer a step up in quality and complexity from basic Beaujolais, with greater structure and aging potential while maintaining the fresh, fruity character that defines the region.
