Béatrice Petit is a wine producer in the Charentes region of western France. The Charentes region is best known as the home of Cognac, the world-famous brandy, and Pineau des Charentes, a fortified wine. The region's vineyards are primarily planted with Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Folle Blanche for Cognac production, while Pineau des Charentes is made by adding Cognac eau-de-vie to fresh grape must. The region also produces IGP Charentais wines, offering a more modest table wine category alongside its prestigious spirits.
