Bruno Cartier is a wine producer in the Savoie region of eastern France, nestled in the French Alps near the Swiss border. Savoie is a picturesque alpine wine region known for its crisp, mineral-driven white wines made from indigenous grape varieties such as Jacquère, Altesse (also known as Roussette), and Vermentino (locally called Bergeron). The region also produces light, refreshing reds from Mondeuse and Pinot Noir. The vineyards are typically planted on steep south-facing slopes overlooking the region's beautiful lakes, creating a unique mountain terroir that gives the wines their distinctive freshness and alpine character.
