David Marchand

About the Winery

David Marchand is a winegrower in the Beaujolais region, based in Cogny. He is a member of the Cave Coopérative de Saint-Julien, contributing to the cooperative tradition that is strong in Beaujolais. The Beaujolais region, stretching about 50km long and 15km wide, is characterized by rolling hills with granite, schist, and sandy soils. The region is famous for its Gamay-based wines, ranging from the light and fruity Beaujolais Nouveau to the more structured Cru Beaujolais from ten designated villages including Fleurie, Morgon, and Moulin-à-Vent.
