Patrick Benas
About the Winery
Patrick Benas has been a vigneron in Serrières since 1992, taking over the family domaine and now cultivating 14 hectares in the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy. He produces primarily Mâcon Villages white wines and Mâcon Serrières rouge from old vines. A passionate defender of quality, Benas has served as president of the Saint-Vincent Tournante du Triangle d'Or, working tirelessly to improve the image of wines from his terroir. His wines have earned numerous distinctions including first prizes at the Saint-Vincent du Triangle d'Or, and selections to the prestigious cave of the Bourgogne interprofession. The 'Doyenne' cuvée comes from vines over 100 years old, delivering exceptional concentration and character. The estate practices sustainable viticulture and welcomes visitors for tastings.
