Gaspard Feuillet
About the Winery
Gaspard Feuillet is a historic wine producer in the Jura region of eastern France. The domaine is particularly renowned for its Château-Chalon wines, the iconic vin jaune appellation made from 100% Savagnin grapes aged under a veil of yeast (sous voile) for a minimum of six years. Feuillet's vin jaune is considered among the most distinctive and age-worthy wines of the Jura, developing complex aromas of walnut, curry spice, and dried fruits. The estate also produces Côtes du Jura wines and Vin de Paille (straw wine), showcasing the unique winemaking traditions of this mountainous region near the Swiss border.
“A historic Jura producer renowned for distinctive Château-Chalon vin jaune and traditional oxidative wines.”
