About the Winery
Comtes d'Andlau-Hombourg is a historic wine estate in Alsace, owned by Count and Countess Christian d'Andlau-Hombourg. The family's properties include the Château de Niedernai, which dates back to the 12th century and was repurchased by the family in 2019 after having been in the family since the 14th century. The estate produces wines from classic Alsatian grape varieties including Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Gewurztraminer. They also produce Crémant d'Alsace sparkling wines. The estate is known for its historic château surrounded by moats, one of the few true wine châteaux in Alsace.
“A historic Alsatian estate with properties dating back to the 12th century, producing classic Alsatian wines from prestigious terroirs.”
