About the Winery

Domaine de la Bottière is a Beaujolais estate producing wines from the Juliénas and Beaujolais-Villages appellations. Juliénas is one of the ten crus of Beaujolais, named after Julius Caesar who is said to have stationed his troops in the region during the Roman conquest. The wines are made from Gamay grapes and are known for their bright ruby color, aromas of red berries and cherries, and fresh, juicy character with soft tannins. The estate produces wines with a floral undertone that express the charm of the Beaujolais terroir.
